2005 NCSU Skills Camp - I was invited to attend this camp when I had just turned thirteen.  This camp is normally for 14-17 years of age for invited guest only.
2004/05 Riverwood Middle School - Conference Champs.  I was a starter for all games in the 7th grade.  I was the second leading scorer and top rebounder.
2005/06 Riverwood Middle School - Conference Champs for the second year in a row.  I was the leading scorer 20.2 ppg and leading rebounder 15 rpg.  I also led in assist.  
2005/06 AAU Basketball  with D-One Sports 14U team.  I was the youngest player on the team at thirteen and we played up most of the time in 15U and 16U tournaments.
2006 Five-Star Basketball Camp - I went to this camp and was chosen to play up in the NCAA group.  I competed real well with mostly junior and senior high school players.
 
2006-07 High School Basketball - I played on the varsity team at West Johnston High School coached by Shelly Marsh.  West Johnston is a 4A school.  I was the only freshman on a junior and senior squad.  I started 6 games toward the end of the season and played a key role when coming off the bench.  I averaged 7.8 points per game.
 
2007 AAU Team - I'm playing for the Raleigh Elite coached by Jerome Brown.
 
2007 Reebok Headliner Camp - I was invited to the Reebok Headliner Camp and did very well.  After the camp concluded I was invited to play for the Reebok sponsored 17U select team.
 
2007 Reebok Proving Ground Camp - I was invited to the Reebok Proving Ground Camp due to my performance at the Reebok Headliner Camp.  This is an invitation only event.
 
2007/2008 Clayton High School Basketball - The team had a record of 27-3 for the season.  Clayton High was the regular season champs and won the conference tournament.  Clayton went to the third round in the state playoffs and lost to the state championship runner ups. 
 
2008/2009 West Johnston High School - The team had a good year and played in the Greater Neuse conference championship game.  Mark was name All Conference, named to the district team, named MVP of the Christmas tournament and won the tournament championship game.  Mark recieved the offensive player award from West Johnston High School.  For the season Mark averaged 16.8 ppg and 7 rpg per game.  Mark broke a school scoring record of 43 points in one of his games with only 3 missed shots.
